While my parents were here they basically let my boys, mainly Brayden choose what all he wanted to do. Top of the list were Grant's Farm and the St. Louis Zoo (he wont ever just say zoo). We spent alot of time in the backyard playing. We also went to our subdivision pool, the playground and stopped at Bass Pro Shop on the way to the airport (my dad was in awe). Josh and I got to enjoy a perfect date night; dinner, a theatre show - 7 Brides for 7 Brothers at the famous St. Louis Muny (outdoor theatre) and free babysitters.

Pawps and GrandB Come to Visit
My parents (Pawps and GrandB) were able to come up for a long weekend visit this past weekend. We had a fun filled weekend together and made the most of the time they were here which never seems quite long enough. When we took them to the airport on Monday, with tears in his eyes Brayden asked why we lived too far away in Missouri and not in Texas where all our family lived. As I tried to fight back tears, I shared with him this is where Daddy has a great job and we make the most out of living this far away and are so thankful for the times we did get to spend with all our family. In the back of my mind I was sharing with God that I wished he could one day provide Josh with a perfect job a little bit closer to everyone. For now I am very thankful that we can make things work living at a distance from all our family.
