Last week the Moms group we are a part of had a morning at the St.Louis World Aquarium. What was awesome about it was it was a tour for only our group, we had the entire tour guide and aquarium to ourselves. My boys absolutely loved the tour. They got to be up close and personal to many of the animals, petting and feeding them. They both came back with lots of stories and talked to Josh about it for an hour. Definitely one of the perks of living near a large city is getting to amazing things like this with my kiddos.
Brayden feeding the catfish and the turtles with the tour guide, Chuck.
Brayden recalls this fish being over a 100 lbs.
This cockatoo was one of the first animals they got to meet.
Brayden was glad to get to hold the turtles, he misses his pet turtle Tom.
And a snake....
The boys checking out some fish
Bransen was not up for picture taking
We might have a Steve Erwin or Turtle Boy on our hands. He was all into the turtles making sure each one got to eat and was not scared at all.
Hard to tell from the picture but these fish are nibbling on Brayden's fingers. They are used in Japan for manicures.
Feeding the turtle. Look how close he is to the mouth!
Learning about a huge turtle.
Petting a bunny.
Now all we can talk about are all the different pets we need. They both say, "When I turn...can I have a..."
Bransen saying "LOOK MOM a huge turtle!!!"
Stingrays
Check out this crab with a baby on his back.
A sloth just hanging out.
Brayden's memory of the ferrets are they are related to skunks therefore they always stink.
Me and Bransen going down the water slide through the fish tank.
Scary little critter, an otter scratching at the glass for the kids.
Brayden with the otter.
Petting the anteater
