Last night as the boys and I headed to bed (Josh was out of town), Brayden went around the kitchen and living room turning off all the lights and the tv. I told him thanks for doing that. His response was "I'm the man of the house since Daddy is gone and that's what the man of the house does" "turn off the lights and tv and protect mommy".
I smiled with pleasure and thought how thankful I am that Josh is demonstrating for our boys ways to be The Man of the House. I pray that my boys are learning ways to be Godly men of their household for one day when they have a spouse and children of their own.
