Camping

I never got a change to post about our recent camping experience. Our subdivision had a family camp out about a month ago. We along with some of our good friends the Bollman's decided we would give it a shot. It was a perfect set up, located one block from my home, I knew if needed we could walk home. The boys all had a blast camping out! They loved playing tackle in the tents, chasing their friends and driving their big trucks in the open fields. We all enjoyed sitting around the fire in the pit and trying to keep the kids away from it. We cooked the typical campout meal; hotdogs and smores but our friend Scott had a really cool item he used to make us all grill cheeses and the best was the fruit pies over the fire. Our night ended at about 10 when Bransen ran smack into the edge of the tailgate resulting in a huge gash, blood, panic and he and I went home. At this point I think all decided it was time to call it a night. It was a great family camping experience that we think we might be adventurous to try again.
