Our first few days of travel were spent in Spearman, TX with Josh's family. We got to spend some good time visiting with Josh's parents and brother's family. We got lots of good lazy time in watching movies and eating junk food. We spent a little bit of fun time out in the snow, just long enough to get all bundled up to take a few pictures and come back in and run a load full of clothes.
Christmas Eve was a special time over at his Aunt and Uncle, Kurt and Lelia's home. Majority of the family were all present including Joe and Nita along with all 4 siblings, most all kids and grandkids. It was a house full! We had a fabulous Thanksgiving style meal, followed by a special time of Communion and prayer, then the kids singing Christmas Carols, a reading of the Christmas Story from the Bible and then a fun gift game for the adults. After Josh's grandma Nita, having such a rough scary few months of sickness this time with all the family together was very special.
Christmas Day we all woke up to a living room full of toys for the grandkids and gifts for the adults. Poor Brayden was very emotional most of the time while opening gifts. We decided that on top of being too tired and a little sick he just was overwhelmed from all the gifts and having to share. It was alot of fun watching the three kids getting so excited about the new toys along with how excited Cale's momma was about her first Christmas old enough to enjoy.
After gifts in about 30 minutes, we all 9 got ready to head to Church. What a fun morning at church we had celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. I love to sing Christmas Carols and all the excitement and Joy Christmas brings. I think the praise section and greeting time at church lasted longer than the sermon. It was great to be in Josh's home church and see many we haven't seen in a while.

Look at all the kiddos Christmas Eve at Kurt and Lelia Bynum's House. Stephanie (Josh's cousin) did an awesome job organizing the kids. She had them in a room playing majority of a time until she brought them out in a single file line ready to sing Christmas carols for the crowd, followed by reading the Christmas story. So cute! |
