The Race is On

We have a walker! Bransen is now choosing walking as his main means of getting around. I cannot believe he is walking before 1. He is loving every minute of it and is so proud of himself when he does walk. He walks every time he can stand against a toy or furniture and takes anywhere from 4 to 14 steps (usually as fast as he can go). I love this initial wobbly walk, with arms out, so adorable. Glad we cought him on camera because it won't be long before he will be running to keep up with big brother and the race will be on.

Candlelight Dinner on the Beach and Bike Tour

Our Travel Agent told the resort we were celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary so we were given a Candlelight Dinner on the Beach. It was such a nice evening for Josh and I to celebrate our anniversary. We had a wonderful time reflecting on the past 10 years while we watched the cruise ships pass in front of us, felt the breeze of the ocean, and listened to the saxaphone played behind us. When we were ready for our dessert here is what they brought out. For a little while I felt like I was in a scene on the Bachelor.

One morning we took a bike tour of the resort and got to see some of the behind the scenes parts of the resort. We saw the resorts pet alligator, an iguana "in the wild", an underground river, a cave, the greenhouses the resort grows most of their vegetables at, the horse farm and a termite mound and damage from a hurricane.

This is the last of my pictures of our trip, until next year. Josh is already planning our next trip.

CANCUN Anniversary Vacation

Josh and I were able to go on a 10 Year Anniversary Trip to El Dorado Royale at Cancun, Mexico. We had an amazing time at a gorgeous resort! We never even left the resort while away for 5 days and 4 nights. We spent alot of time doing nothing which was exactly what we wanted to do. Our days consisted of eating 3 excellent meals a day, laying by the pool, laying by the beach, playing a few games at the pool, attending the shows and dancing at night. It was wonderful to be able to eat in silence, visit with my husband and rediscover our friendship and do what we wanted to do for a couple of days. The first night I slept for 11 hours, must have been one tired momma. We are already ready to schedule our next trip. I have many many pictures to share so will probably do it in a few different post.
A huge thank you to my parents for coming to our house to keep the boys while we were away. The boys did excellent while we were gone and I was thankful to know they were in great hands so I could really relax while away. Remeber it was my first time away from Bransen ever. I think we both did well. It was very fun to come home to the boys after being away.

AeroMexico, the way to go. Straight flight from STL to Cancun, only 3 hours and we were there!

What? Tequela and Vodka served on the plane at 8 am on the way to Mexico. We were shocked and people were really asking for it. They also served Corona on our bus on the way to the resort. The driver was opening them while he was driving. Josh and I couldn't get over it.

Muffins with Mom

This week at Brayden's Mom's Day Out he had Muffins with Mom. All moms were invited to come share muffins and juice with their child. I was able to take Bransen to a friend and get to spend some time with just Brayden. We had a great time together at his school! He was so happy to have me with him and I enjoyed getting to see him in action. We got to do a prayer with them, have breakfast, do a craft with them, watch them do 2 songs with actions and then see them play with their friends. All in about 30 minutes. I am very thankful for his wonderful MDO. It has been a blessing to us since we have been here. Brayden loves going and has learned so much this year.

Bransen in Action

Persistence - Bransen very carefully placing the blocks into the Alphabet Train he got for Christmas from Grandpa and Grandma. He also has a blast riding on this, so does big brother.

Car Riding - Bransen has done great with learning to get on and off his cars. He learned quickly and can move very well on them now. It is so fun watching him learn something new each day. He really enjoys trying to chase Brayden on his car.

Lip Smacking - Bransen has learned to smack his lips when he is wanting more food or his drink, so cute and works great for mom to know what he wants.

Dog Tackling - Bransen has already learned to tackle. Not sure if it's just a boys instinct or he has already learned this from Big Brother. Will probably get some Uncles excited to see him working on moves for football.
